Brandt started her career with New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with her role as Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Brandt is the character Mazikeen on the show based on urban fantasy Lucifer and starring Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town South Africa and then moved in Auckland New Zealand with her family as a teenager. She began her career in the field of modeling by appearing in print advertisements and commercials.
